Robert Masters

Robert O. Masters has degrees in Public Policy, International Development and Management, and has studied Law at the University of Paris.  Prior to coming to Switzerland 4 years ago, he worked for 25 years with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as the Chief of the Satellite Activities Branch and more recently as the Director of the National Weather Service International Activities Office. Early in his career he worked with NASA and the US House of Representatives Science Committee.  He is currently the Director for Development and Regional Activities Department at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).  He and his wife Mary have seven children ranging in age from 10 to 22.
