Kishan Khoday

Dr. Kishan Khoday has served with the United Nationals Development Programme (UNDP) since 1997, leading the UN Programming in China, Indonesia and now Saudi Arabia. He served as UNDP Governance Advisor and Deputy Coordinator for Environment in Indonesia (1997-2005) where he led efforts to integrate sustainability into the oil and gas sector through public-private partnerships, and as UNDP Team Leader for Energy & Environment in China (2005 – 2009) where he led one of the UNs largest climate change and clean energy programmes, with major focus on renewable energy policy and technology.

Currently serving as Deputy Representative for UNDP operations in Saudi Arabia, Kishan is mobilizing the UNs global expertise and best practises to support Saudi Arabia’s goal of expanding clean energy policies and technologies.
