Dr. Taha holds a directorate of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA. He specialises in ecology and environmental management, climate change, environmental standards and guidelines, environmental inspection and auditing and pollution control technology. He also holds a constructive contribution award for regional climate change issues, Gulf Countries Corporation Council (GCCC), May 2008. Re-elected for a new term as vice chair of the IPCC working group III for mitigation of climate change.
