Welcome to GCC Environment Forum – GEF 2016
Originally launched in 2010, the GCC Environment Forum (GEF) has continually grown in popularity and prestige over the years to assert its position as Saudi Arabia’s flagship environmental event.
In 2015 the GCC Environment Forum (GEF) was held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the initiative of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME).
GEF 2016 returns in April from 18 – 20 and will once again combine an international exhibition with a strategic conference as well as a prestigious awards ceremony.
The event will serve all the sectors of the environmental industry including:
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Waste management
- Water and wastewater
- Environmental technologies
2015 Event Highlights
In 2015 public sector representatives and senior decision-makers of the private sectors converged at GEF to gain the latest industry insights. 1,080 environmental experts, public sector decision-makers and VIPs interacted at GEF 2015 to discuss upcoming legislations, project opportunities and technological breakthroughs.
